Roberton Primary now has it's own website. Click here to access it. Roberton School News Parent Council: A special meeting was held last week to discuss the future of the school. It is highly likely that there will be no pupils on the school roll next session. The consensus of opinion was to ‘mothball’ the school. This means that the school would remain as council property and the status of the school would be reviewed after 2 years with the option to reopen the school should there be sufficient numbers of pupils. Proposals for statutory consultation on the future of the school will be submitted to SBC councillors and to the Scottish Government. Rag Bag Funds: With the proceeds from last year’s Rag Bag collection, the boys decided to buy a 4in1 Target Goal along with three new footballs. This will enable them to practice their football skills as well as play hockey during their breaks. A big thank you again for all your donations. Janitor: Dave Halfpenny, our janitor, has been relocated to the Roxburghshire School area. We would like to thank him for all his hard work over the years and wish him well in his new schools. Our new janitor is Alan Currie who will now be with us every Tuesday morning. Topic: This term, Primary 5 children are learning all about Vikings, whilst Primary 4 are learning about Castles. *** Contact us:
