P6 MULTI SPORT DAY:
At the Multi Sport event at the Astroturf on 22nd May, the P6
pupils had a lot of fun participating in three events. There was
cricket, athletics and a whole afternoon of football. Our favourite
part was the football. It was great! For future P6 pupils, if you get
the chance to go, please go, but watch out for the inflatable pitch!

Throwing could be hard work ................................... Batting
was obviously difficult......... but it wasn't
all hard work!!!!

Thanks to the Parents who helped us.
"I
Can, I Will'
On Tuesday 15th January P6H and the P6s from Miss
Hopkins class went to a course about learning and thinking. It was
called "I can, I will". It was taken by a man called Ruiari - The King
of the Redheads. He was Irish and funny. We had to do challenges and
work together. One was to look at a picture for 8 seconds then draw it
with our team. There were also chin heads and mazes and power napping
and other things. It was fun.

Historic Scotland
This was a unique opportunity for the p4’s and 5’s
to learn more about the work of historic Scotland in a way that was
really good fun. I’m sure the children all enjoyed taking part in the
drama sessions led by Alan and Shona, and that they will remember what
they learned about our country for a very long time!
