Drumlanrig Thunder romp home on Finals Day

Final

Trinity Tigers vs Drumlanrig Thunder

Thunder batted first and posted a very modest 66-8 with Jordan top scoring with 19 with Sean S and Lisa taking 2 wkts each.  Trinity must have thought their name was on cup but Ryan J had other ideas, taking an incredible 6 wkts from 12 balls to to leave last years winners on 63-12, with Lisa scoring 10 for Trinity.

Drumlanrig coach Mr Hunter commented, "The children were really down at the end of their innings, after all we made it into the final on the basis of not losing wickets. I told them that the answer was simple, go and get 7 wickets! Ryan bowled magnificently but he was backed up by the other eight players in the team who also bowled and fielded like tigers. My cricketers are a great bunch and I'm very proud of them all."
